Senior pictures are a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I want you to look and feel your absolute best! Over the years, I’ve seen it all—the good, the bad, and the completely avoidable! So, take it from a senior photographer who’s worked with 100s of seniors… here are 3 things I’d NEVER do before a senior photoshoot! 📸✨

1️⃣ Self-Tan Gone Wrong! ☀️

I totally get it—you want that sun-kissed glow for your senior pictures! But one of the biggest mistakes I see is DIY self-tanning disasters. 🙈 Orange streaks, patchy hands, or surprise tan lines can completely change how your skin looks in photos (and they’re way harder to edit than you think!).

What to do instead:
✔️ If you love the bronzed look, book a professional spray tan at least 2-3 days before your shoot. I highly recommend @_goglow for a flawless, natural finish!
✔️ If you’re tanning outside, be mindful of tan lines—strap marks are not your friend in senior pictures!

2️⃣ Weather-Related Stress 🌧️

I see it all the time—checking the weather forecast weeks in advance and panicking over rain or clouds. But here’s the truth: weather is unpredictable, and it’s out of our control! The good news? I’ve got you covered.
