Anna’s Spring Senior Pictures at Mount Tamalpais | Granite Bay High School
We ended Anna’s senior session with fog, a little rain, and umbrellas—and some really cool pictures!
Anna is a Granite Bay High School senior, and we headed to Mount Tamalpais for her spring senior pictures. She brought a good mix of casual and dressy outfits, along with her Boise State gear to celebrate what’s next after high school. Then, toward the end of our session, the weather gave us a whole different look.
Casual Looks, Dressy Outfits, and Boise State Gear
I love when seniors bring a variety of outfits because it gives us room to show different sides of their style. Anna’s mix of casual and dressy looks worked so well for her outdoor session, and her Boise State gear added a personal touch.
College gear is such a fun thing to include if you’ve decided where you’re headed. Your senior pictures celebrate this last year of high school, but they can also capture the excitement of your next chapter. A college sweatshirt or tee is an easy addition to your outfit lineup.
If you’re starting to plan your own looks, my senior picture outfit guide can help you pull together a mix that feels like you. You can also check out what to bring to your senior pictures as you get everything ready for session day.
Toward the end of Anna’s session, the fog rolled in and we even got rained on. Thankfully, her mom came prepared with umbrellas, so we were able to keep shooting through the drizzle!
The fog changed the feel of the pictures, and I loved getting that extra variety at the end. Those rainy, foggy shots became such a memorable part of Anna’s Mount Tamalpais senior session. A big thank-you to Mom for being prepared!
Anna was also part of the MC Senior VIP Team. In her Google review, she shared what that experience meant to her:
Every shoot I have been to with Michelle has been incredible! She makes me feel so comfortable and makes the shoots fun and enjoyable. Being a part of this team has been the best decision I have made so far this year. I have become fast friends with the girls and feel the love right back from them, it really is like a family.
I love hearing that she felt comfortable at our shoots and found friendships through the team. Getting to photograph these seniors throughout the year and watching them connect is one of my favorite parts of the MC Senior VIP Team.
Questions About Planning Your Senior Pictures
Can I bring college gear to my senior pictures?
Absolutely! If you know where you’re headed, bring your college sweatshirt, tee, or other gear. Like Anna’s Boise State outfit, it’s a fun way to include your future plans alongside your favorite everyday and dressy looks.
What happens if it rains during my senior pictures?
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and talk through the plan if weather looks like it could affect your session. Light drizzle or fog can sometimes give us beautiful pictures, as it did for Anna, but whether we keep shooting depends on the conditions. We’ll consider your comfort, the location, and safety when deciding how to move forward.
When should I book spring senior pictures?
Book ahead so we have time to plan your outfits and locations and work around graduation deadlines. Think about when you’ll need pictures for announcements, too. My senior picture booking timeline walks you through what to consider.
Anna, thank you for choosing me for your senior pictures and for being part of the MC Senior VIP Team! I loved getting to know you and your mom and I know you are going to have an amazing future! AND I’m so glad we kept shooting through that fog and drizzle.
